High-level Side Event of the General Assembly at its 80th Session entitled "The Political Economy of Implementing Primary Health Care: Key Policy Shifts"  The event will delve into the Coalition's aims and objectives, its three main activity areas, and future directions and milestones. Emphasis will be placed in the Coalition's role in driving reorientation of health systems towards Primary Health Care As primary health care (PHC) is a cornerstone of the prevention and control of NCDs, this event will provide the audience with the opportunity to engage with best practices in PHC implementation, strengthen health systems, and promote sustainable outcomes to inform national strategies in addressing NCDs. World Patient Safety Day is an opportunity to raise public awareness, foster collaboration between stakeholders and mobilize global action to improve patient safety.
